The idea for KIMEEZ came to founder Kim Pierce after years of frustration with sweat ruining her favorite shoes. Summer flats for the office, heels for a night out, nothing stayed fresh for long.
“I tried everything from tissue to pantyliners,” Kim says. “Nothing worked.”
As someone who was always on the go, Kim ran into the same problem with athletic shoes. “I was going through them way faster than I should have,” she says. “It was costing me a fortune.”
So she decided to take matters into her own feet.
Kim created KIMEEZ, simple, peel-and-stick liners designed to absorb sweat while staying comfortable and securely in place.
What started with shoes soon expanded to hats and beyond, all with one goal in mind: helping people protect the things they love.

Mid-pandemic, Kim decided it was finally time to bet on herself and pursue a dream she had been thinking about for years.
With a background in business and finance, Kim had spent her career serving several prominent Chicago organizations in executive roles. Her passion for strategy and financial leadership helped inspire teams and drive business success.

Kim knew she wanted to start her own company, but management consulting or accounting didn’t exactly spark excitement. Then in 2021, a chance encounter with an engineer-inventor in her neighborhood helped turn an idea into something real, and KIMEEZ was born.
Today, Kim is proud to share her innovative solution with people everywhere.
“Creating KIMEEZ is a dream come true,” she says. “The most rewarding part is helping customers feel more confident and comfortable.”
Beyond building her business, Kim is passionate about mentoring the next generation of leaders. She’s also an animal lover who cherishes spending time with her nieces and nephews.
